Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Field Service Technician to join our growing field operations team. In this role, you will travel to customer sites to perform inspection, maintenance, and service work on high-voltage electrical equipment, including Dry-type transformers , Oil-filled pad-mounted transformers , and Gas-Insulated Switchgear (GIS) .

No prior electrical or technical experience is required—we provide full hands-on, on-the-job training to equip you with all the necessary skills and safety certifications for a long-term career in the electrical power industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on field testing, routine maintenance, installation assistance, and repairs on dry-type transformers, oil-filled pad-mounted transformers, and gas-insulated switchgear (GIS).
• Follow strict safety protocols and procedures while working on electrical site infrastructure.
• Assist senior technicians with diagnostic troubleshooting and field reporting.
• Travel frequently to client facilities, industrial plants, and utility substations.
• Maintain company tools, testing equipment, and service gear in working order.

Position Requirements

• Legal Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Driver’s License: Must hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Physical Capability: Must be physically able to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 50 lbs regularly and work on your feet in various environment types (indoor/outdoor).
• Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel to client sites as required by the schedule.

Preferred Qualifications (A Plus, Not Required)

• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Forklift Operator Certification
• OSHA Certifications (e.g., OSHA 10 or OSHA 30)
